Neighbour Mediation
Neighbour mediation can provide a speedy resolution to disputes. It is used in disputes involving antisocial behaviour, noise, parking harassment, and boundaries.
A 1 hour telephone assessment call will assess your suitability for mediation.
Once your case has been accepted, two trained and experienced community mediators will work with you and your neighbour to listen to your situations individually.
Your community mediators will help and support you through the mediation process to help you and your neighbour reach an outcome that suits both of you.
We aim to make mediation accessible to any Sheffield residents, regardless of income. Please contact a member of the MESH team to check availability and price, and to book a session
This is a cost per neighbour.
Both neighbours must pay this mediation session fee before mediation starts.
If you or your neighbour is a tenant then the council, housing association or private landlord may pay for one or both per neighbour mediation session.
